Craig – I have been trying to get a night picture as you did capturing the night sky with the deep blue and stars but my camera (Rebel EOS xt) won’t even let me take a picture at all…why and could you give me what settings you may have had your camera in to get that shot? Thank you for your time. Just was in your class Thursday night.

With my camera on a tripod, I used a shutter speed of 8 seconds and the ISO set to 1600. My lens aperture was wide open.
